What will you be doing:
The Clinical Informatics RN - Case Management (Inpatient) provides mentorship for operational groups and end users as the liaison between EIS and the customer for strategic, tactical, and day-to-day planning of system implementations, upgrades, improvements, and ongoing end user support. This role facilitates discussions and partners with leaders to manage project and optimization request intake, including prioritization and coordination across diverse business areas. Helps to evaluate, select, and integrate new technologies. Assists with the translation of requirements and ensures efficient workflow design and system build to best serve our clinical and revenue cycle end users and patients. Under limited supervision, manages projects including the needs' analysis, design, development, testing, training, documentation, and communication to business owners.
Hybrid Remote = must currently live in Los Angeles area or willing to relocate to LA area for onsite requirements
Experience Requirements:
Two (2) plus years of clinical experience as an RN or NP in an inpatient setting, Case Management experience preferred.
Must possess an in-depth understanding of departmental operations and processes as well as clinical nursing policies and procedures.
Solid grasp with clinical, financial and/or patient management health care applications or systems is required.
An understanding of the healthcare applications suite and their place in the acute care, physician, ambulatory and ancillary settings.
Must possess excellent clinician and physician relationship skills.
Ability to translate the end-user workflow and requirements into application requirements/design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Educational/License Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Nursing, or related field. (highly prefer BSN or MSN)
Current License as Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner in CA. (highly preferred)
