As a Security Officer - Industrial Site Patrols in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate : $18.39 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards during patrols and report findings according to company procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment.
  • Assist with access control by observing entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any concerns.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
