The SAP Enterprise Architect is a senior-level technology leader responsible for defining and driving the overall SAP architecture strategy across the organization. This role requires deep cross-functional SAP expertise (S / 4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite, Data & Analytics), strong cloud architecture knowledge, and hands-on experience leveraging AI, automation, and modern engineering practices to deliver scalable enterprise solutions. The SAP Architect partners closely with business leaders, IT executives, and delivery teams to design intelligent, integrated, future-ready SAP landscapes.

Enterprise SAP Architecture

  • Define end-to-end SAP architecture across all functional domains (Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Sales, HR, Procurement, Analytics, etc.).
  • Develop SAP roadmaps aligned with enterprise goals, modernization strategies, and cloud adoption.
  • Lead design for SAP S / 4HANA (On-Prem, RISE, or GROW) including integrations, extensions, data, and security.
  • Design scalable system landscapes including SAP BTP, cloud-native components, and hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Cross-Functional SAP Expertise

  • Provide architectural guidance across SAP modules : FI / CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM, TM, IBP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAC, Datasphere, etc.
  • Support solution architects and module leads with design decisions, fit-gap analysis, and blueprint creation.
  • Ensure end-to-end process integration and harmonization across business units.

    • SAP Cloud, BTP & Integration

  • Architect solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) :
  • CAP / RAP development,
  • Fiori / UI5,
  • Integration Suite,
  • Event Mesh,
  • Workflow Management,
  • AI / ML services.
  • Define integration patterns using APIs, OData services, middleware (CPI, PI / PO, MuleSoft), and cloud connectors.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and greenfield / brownfield transformation programs.

    • AI, Automation & Emerging Technologies

  • Leverage SAP AI services, BTP AI Core, and generative AI tools to automate processes and enhance user experience.
  • Evaluate opportunities for ML-driven insights in demand planning, finance forecasting, procurement optimization, and manufacturing quality.
  • Lead automation initiatives using RPA, process mining (Signavio), and intelligent workflows.

    • Governance & Standards

  • Define architecture standards, development guidelines, and integration best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, SOX, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive reusability, modularization, and scalability across SAP solutions.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance optimization, and solution validation.

    • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with executives, business owners, and delivery teams to shape solutions and influence technology decisions.
  • Provide guidance to developers, functional consultants, and technical leads.
  • Lead technical workshops, solution design sessions, and executive presentations.
  • Collaborate with external partners, SIs, and cloud vendors.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12+ years of SAP consulting or architecture experience.
  • Strong cross-functional knowledge across multiple SAP modules.
  • Deep experience with SAP S / 4HANA (RISE / GROW / On-Prem).
  • Strong expertise in SAP BTP (Integration, Extensions, AI, UX, Security).
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture on AWS / Azure / GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with AI / ML concepts, automation tools, and modern data platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading large-scale global SAP programs.
