Job Description Responsible for performing daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer. Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field/department. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
Responsibilities- Creates requisitions orders for the acquisition of materials and services
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Assist in preparing spread sheets, special projects, and reviewing reports.
- Monitor and assists with vendor related issues.
- Provides routine administrative support.
- Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A total commitment to working safely and participating in all HSE programs.
- English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- General office experience- filing, faxing, copying, etc.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common reports.
- Must type 50 words per minute or more.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products and Internet Procurement Systems.
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position for another drilling contractor of 6 months of service with Nabors.
