Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is committed to protecting the public by providing safe and effective individualized services to youth who will become productive law-abiding citizens. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator 2. As part of our executive team you will provide essential administrative support that keeps the Directors Office running smoothly while helping advance our mission of rehabilitation accountability and community safety.

Minimum Qualifications

One year of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION :

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties :

Coordinate daily administrative operations for the Directors Office including scheduling correspondence and document preparation.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders ensuring timely and professional communication.

Prepare review and route official documents reports and personnel actions in compliance with Civil Service and agency policies.

Maintain records files and databases to support program oversight and executive decision-making.

Assist with budget tracking procurement requests and other fiscal support functions.

Support special projects meetings and initiatives led by the Director and executive staff.

Uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling juvenile justice-related information.

Position-Specific Details :

Work Location : This vacancy is located at Swanson Center for Youth in Monroe Louisiana.

Appointment Type : This is a part-time Administrative Coordinator 2 position.

The incumbent of this position must not have been convicted or pled nolo contendere to a crime listed in R.S. 15.587.1 (c).
