Proficiency with metrology tools and calibration systems. Strong understanding of GD&T principles, SPC techniques, and blueprint interpretation. Quality Technician : Rockford , Illinois
Our customer in Rockford, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Quality Technicians to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for operating CMM equipment, performing inspections and testing, maintaining calibration systems, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and documentation.
Responsibilities of the Quality Technician :
- Program and operate CMM equipment, providing instruction and training to others.
- Perform advanced non-destructive testing (NDT), including magnetic particle testing.
- Maintain the instrument calibration system, ensuring all tools are calibrated and documented.
- Investigate returned products and document findings in the RGA database.
- Conduct inspections and generate quality documents like inspection reports and certificates of conformance.
- Support scrap / re-work processes and document corrective actions.
Quality Technician Requirements and Qualifications :
Pay for Quality Technician : Starting at $21-$26.25 / hour.
Quality Technician Benefits :
Type : 2nd Shift, Full-time
Schedule : Monday - Friday from 3pm - 11 : 30pm.
