Assistant Controller

Finance Position

Under direction of the controller, ensures that all required financial statements and reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner according to corporate policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations and laws. Supports the controller in delivering on monthly performance targets, maintaining a structured compliance environment, and successful execution of business initiatives.

• Own the monthly general ledger closing and reconciliation process
• Support development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis for the location
• Lead the completion of monthly financial control procedures to ensure the location meets Howmet audit / ASAT / SOX requirements
• Provide accurate and timely reporting / forecasting / planning for the location
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and sharing of best practices
• Provide support on an as needed basis for financial and control audits for both internal and external auditors
• Support development of tools / reports to facilitate financial, commercial, and operational improvements
• Lead development of tools / reports to facilitate operations to meet the financial plan
• Ensure strict adherence to code of conduct and corporate policy
• Create an environment where systems are used to accurately plan, forecast, and deliver according to expectations

$120,000 - $145,000 / year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
