Bilingual English/Spanish Operations Manager

We are a food distribution company specializing in meat and poultry products for supermarkets, seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations. This role is responsible for managing warehouse operations, logistics, inventory flow, and team performance to ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery of products to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food distribution, strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.

• Manage logistics and transportation, ensuring on-time deliveries to supermarkets and retail customers.

• Coordinate inventory control, product rotation, and cold storage processes.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

• Supervise, train, and manage warehouse and operations staff.

• Develop and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

• Monitor KPIs related to productivity, order accuracy, and delivery performance.

• Work closely with sales, purchasing, and customer service teams to support business needs.

• Enforce workplace safety policies and regulatory requirements.

• Handle scheduling, staffing, and workflow planning.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in food distribution, meat, poultry, or refrigerated warehouse environments.

• Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse management, and inventory control.

• Experience managing teams in a warehouse or distribution setting.

• Familiarity with cold storage and perishable goods handling.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with supermarket or retail food distribution.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, USDA, FDA, or similar).

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
