Your Daily Responsibilities Will Involve:
  • Preparing and organizing the operating room to ensure an efficient surgical environment
  • Maintaining sterile fields while meticulously following infection control protocols
  • Assisting surgeons and surgical teams with the provision of instruments and supplies
  • Thoroughly preparing and managing surgical equipment throughout the procedure
  • Keeping an eye on surgical supplies and confirming readiness for operations
  • Collaborating with nurses, anesthesiologists, and fellow surgical staff for optimal patient care
  • Accurately documenting surgical counts and maintaining precise records
Education and Experience Standards:
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is required
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary
CREDENTIALS REQUIRED:
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is mandatory
  • BLS certification (or the ability to secure within 90 days of hire)
