Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Tyler, TX

\n \n

$1200 or more per week - And it gets better

\n \n\n \n

  • Driver Positions Pay Weekly

\n \n

  • Solo Miles Pay :  $0.55 per Mile with 2100 - 2400 Miles per Week

    • \n \n

  • Solo Stops Pay :  $13.23 per Stop with 6 - 10 Stops per Week

    • \n \n

  • Drop and Hook Pay : $6.62 per Drop / Hook

    • \n \n

  • Per Diem : $26.00 per night with 1-2 nights out a week but mostly home daily

    • \n \n

  • Paid Training

    • \n \n

  • Schedule : Monday – Friday

    • \n \n

  • Start Time : 2 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 AM 12 Hour Days

    • \n \n

  • Must have Hazmat to interview

  • Tractor Type : Day Cab

  • Trailer Type :  Dry Van, 53'

  • Endorsements : Haz-Mat at the time of Interview

  • Freight :  No Touch – Palletized, Farm supplies, Clothing, Tools

    • \n \n\n \n

    Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

    Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age

    • \n \n

  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test

    • \n \n

  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

    • \n \n

  • Pass a DOT physical

    • \n \n

  • Pass a Ryder road test

    • \n \n

  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

    • \n \n

  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :

    • \n \n

  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

    • \n \n

  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

    • \n \n

  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

    • \n \n

  • Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions

    • \n \n

  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

    • \n \n\n \n

    Important Note : Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and / or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

    Responsibilities

    \n \n\n \n

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines

    • \n \n

  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

    • \n \n

  • Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer

    • \n \n

  • Performs other duties as assigned

    • \n \n\n \n
