• We are hiring immediately for a full time COOK position.
• Location : Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital - 1214 Coolidge Street, Lafayette, LA 70503  Note : online applications accepted only.
• Schedule : Full time schedule. Days and hours may vary. Must be able to work every other weekend / holiday. More details upon interview.
• Requirement : Must have knowledge of kitchen and food safety. ServSafe or culinary degree preferred.
• Pay Range : $15.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary : Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
