POSITION

Alliant Purchasing is seeking a Director of Strategic Sourcing. The Director of Strategic Sourcing will be a crucial leader responsible for developing, executing, and managing high-impact national contracts within complex, high-spend categories. This role requires a blend of deep healthcare market knowledge, strategic negotiation skill, and proven experience in managing physician preference items. The Director will drive significant cost savings and ensure contract value for Alliant's membership base.

JOB DUTIES

• Lead the strategic sourcing lifecycle, from market analysis and RFP development to contract negotiation, execution, and ongoing supplier management.
• Identify opportunities for new and innovative contracts within the healthcare supply chain.
• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key supplier partners and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze industry trends, economic factors, and supply chain dynamics to ensure Alliant's portfolio remains competitive and relevant.
• Present business cases and contract recommendations to executive leadership and members.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

COMPENSATION

In the spirit of pay transparency, we can share that the pay range for this position is $90,000 - $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and / or experience, which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
