Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the gaming division. Under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Finance Gaming, this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ideal for early-career professionals, this position provides exposure to casino, hotel, and restaurant operations while developing expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics.
Responsibilities :
- Support short- and long-term financial planning, including forecasting and budgeting for gaming, hotel, and restaurant operations
- Build and maintain databases for financial, marketing, staffing, and operational data
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards to track performance and identify trends
- Analyze promotional programs, labor metrics, and operating expenses to evaluate profitability and efficiency
- Prepare journal entries, variance reports, and financial summaries for senior management
- Monitor and interpret financial results, providing actionable insights to leadership
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses to support business growth and operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with Gaming Commission regulations, internal policies, and PCI standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support treasury and accounting processes
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field13 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the casino, hotel, or restaurant industryStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, formulas, conditional formatting)Experience with SQL and business intelligence tools preferredSolid understanding of financial statements and general ledger conceptsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the futureWhat we offer you :
