Description
Summary
Under general supervision, performs electronic and mechanical assembly operations on printed wiring boards, subassemblies, and final assemblies in accordance with specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and / or Experience :
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or IPC certification preferred.
One to three years of related experience in electronics assembly or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills :
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Language Skills :
Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly instructions, and process documentation.
Mathematical Skills :
Basic math skills and proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to monitor own work for accuracy and thoroughness; collaborate to resolve issues and support improvements.
Work Environment
Manufacturing floor with moderate noise and exposure to chemicals, adhesives, and ESD-sensitive components.
Requires adherence to PPE and safety protocols.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Good vision for detailed work, including color differentiation.
