Road Supervisor

MV Transportation, Inc., a leader in providing reliable, safe, and efficient public transportation services, is seeking a detail-oriented Road Supervisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the operation of buses on city streets and rural routes, ensuring that all operations meet company standards and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a knack for operational management. Monitor and supervise on-road transit operations to ensure services are delivered in accordance with established schedules and routes. Conduct regular checks and road observations to verify driver compliance with traffic regulations, route adherence, and time schedules. Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers; providing support, guidance, and training as required. Respond to incidents and emergencies, coordinate with emergency response teams, and prepare detailed reports on the same. Implement and monitor safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe environment for passengers and employees. Address and resolve passenger complaints related to service delivery. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition and report maintenance issues observed during road checks. Strong knowledge of transportation operations and management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using technology to manage logistics and communication. Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisive actions quickly. Good familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn, local geographic and demographic layout relevant to transit operations.
