Financial Analyst - Biology

Position Summary

Arts & Science is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join the Department of Biology. This individual will f acilitate financial transactions for departments and programs and provide internal control review of fiscal activity on operating, restricted fund, endowment, plant fund, and sponsored research accounts; implement and assist with developing internal control procedures; provide analyses for preparation of annual School budget.

Qualifications

Required Education : Bachelor's degreeRequired Experience : 3 years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with forecasting, financial analysis, and budget management.Preferred Experience : Experience in an academic / higher education setting.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities : Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Windows-based software applications, including proficiency with database and spreadsheet software.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,958.79 to USD $85,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
