Our client, a growing CPA firm, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This firm caters to a diverse clientele, ranging from large publicly held corporations to closely held businesses, and offers a progressive work environment that emphasizes career advancement and professional development.

They are looking for you, an entrepreneurial and technically skilled Tax Manager , to lead tax engagements while building strong client relationships and mentoring junior staff.

What you get to do :

• Supervise tax engagements to ensure compliance with firm and professional standards.
• Plan and schedule tax engagements, coordinating with clients and internal resources.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
• Conduct detailed reviews of tax returns and associated work papers.
• Perform tax research and communicate findings to clients and team members.
• Provide training, direction, and supervision to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas, especially those related to industry specialization.
• Manage a book of business, including budgets and production goals.
• Participate in consulting and special projects as requested by management and clients.
