Candidates for the VP of Data Science position at the company should have a Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field and at least 12 years of experience in data science, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a senior leadership role. The role demands a leader with a strong background in machine learning principles, advanced algorithms, and healthcare data, particularly in the areas of EHR data, claims, and remittances. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to translate business challenges into high-ROI data science roadmaps and a successful history of applying data science to both clinical and financial data.
