About The Role
Responsible for the execution and maintenance of product / disease specific projects to establish prevalence or burden of disease / symptoms or health outcomes from treatment. Works closely with the Global Clinical Development, Medical Affairs teams and Brand teams to achieve departmental and corporate strategic objectives. Contributes to the HEOR strategy development.
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to) :
- Designs, develops and implements projects to assist in the creation of disease or product specific evidence
- Works closely with the development or brand team lead to be responsible for HEOR content
- Collaborates with internal business partners to meet the evidence needs of external consumers
- Oversee and manage vendors
- Assist in meeting Departmental goals
- Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies
- Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
- Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria
- Establishes and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Typical Experience or Education : MPH, MS in Health Outcomes or Health Economics or related degree AND 6+ years of Pharmaceutical industry experience in a HEOR role with direct research experience preferred; completion of an HEOR 2-year fellowship with a research focus desired OR PhD in HE or HO or related field or PharmD AND 4+ years of similar experience noted above OR Previous managerial / functional management experience also requiredStrong data analytic skillsStrong written communication skills including publication / medical writing experience is requiredEffective interpersonal skills including the ability to build successful relationships with internal experts / teams and other stakeholdersExperience and knowledge in claims analysis, data set analysis and possible economic modeling is highly preferredAbility to analyze and summarize data, think critically, manage projects, influence others, work in a team environmentHighly proficient computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and SAS or other statistical programmingRequires broad understanding of the processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the team's workApplies in-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the functionAbility to work as part of and lead multiple teamsStrong leadership skills and abilities, manages internal and / or external teamsExcellent communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skillsAbility to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects / programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiencyExcellent project management skills.Attention to detail and confidentiality are essentialNeurocrine Biosciences is an EEO / Disability / Vets employer. The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $151,400.00-$207,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties / requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
