Quality & Mission Assurance Associate Manufacturing Engineer Midland, TX

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Quality & Mission Assurance Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading aerospace and satellite communications company located in Midland, TX through 100% onsite work. The Quality & Mission Assurance AME will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of manufacturing processes and components supporting next-generation satellite systems.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate product designs and manufacturing processes for quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation including inspection plans, control plans, and process audits.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Support mission assurance activities by ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • 13+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace sector.
  • Proficiency with pFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality control methodologies.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, ERP / MES / PLM systems, and quality data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work extended hours onsite in a dynamic production environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

    • Compensation

  • Salary : $85,000 / year depending on experience.
  • Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, Holidays.
  • Other benefits : relocation assistance ($10,000), unlimited PTO after 90 days, Restricted Stock Units, monthly meal allowance and stipend ($1,000 / month).
  • Location : 100% onsite in Midland, TX.
