Summary

  • Being a critical part of a back end development team working on a high-speed, resilient trading system
  • Participating in design and architecture decisions
  • Delivering key pieces of feature lists.
  • Code review and leadership of team members.
  • Ensuring component consistency in design and with testing standards.
  • Partnering with Product Owners ,BAs and QA to ensure a resilient, performant, built for purpose system is developed and maintained
  • Focusing on continuous improvement to efficiently deliver features
  • Working with other Technical leads to set standards across components and services
  • Driving the prioritization of non-functional requirements

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience building java based applications, ideally in financial services.
  • You should have full stack development experience with experience the use of microservices and restful services
  • Experience with multi-threaded, fast microservices.
  • Familiarity with json and devops techniques.
  • Strong understanding of Kafka, relationship databases.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative multi-location team
  • Knowledge and experience with software lifecycle optimization, including unit testing, continuous integration, automated testing, appropriate documentation
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD
