Surgery - General Physician at Integrity Locums summary :

The position is for a General Surgeon providing inpatient care with a focus on trauma-level patients between May 1, 2025, and September 1, 2025. The surgeon will perform various procedures including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and GI endoscopies while managing a team of two NPs / PAs. Candidates must be board certified in General Surgery with an active WA license; fellowship training is preferred.

Coverage Needed

  • May 1, 2025 - September 1, 2025
  • Long term, 4-month contract

Schedule

  • Weekend call coverage and sporadic Mondays in the endo suite for colonoscopies

    • Clinical Details

  • Inpatient
  • Patients per shift : 5-10
  • Trauma Level 4

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Surgery - General
  • Fellowship - Preferred
  • Active WA License or IMLC
  • Required Skills : General Surgery ( Adult, Trauma), Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Breast surgery, Chest tube insertion
  • Preferred Skills : GI endoscopy (Upper, Lower), Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Central line insertion
  • Endo procedures are required
