Pay : $17–$18 / hr
Schedule :
Mon–Fri, 7 : 30am–3 : 30pm (no weekends / holidays, no overtime)

Correctional facility in Orient, OH
Environment :
Walk between buildings regularly; not strenuous but frequent.
What You’ll Do :
Organize patient medical files :
Make sure paperwork is complete, signatures are in place, and documents are in the right order.
Scan documents into the computer system :
Upload medical paperwork into the electronic health record (EHR).
Create and update patient charts :
Set up charts for new patients, fill out standard forms, and make sure all information is recorded correctly.
Type basic reports and forms :
Use Word and Excel to type letters, forms, and simple reports.
Track daily and monthly numbers :
Enter data such as admissions, discharges, and patient counts into spreadsheets.
File and retrieve medical records :
Put documents away in the correct place, update logs, and pull charts when needed.
Share information appropriately :
Provide records only to people who are authorized to see them and follow confidentiality rules.
Work with a small team :
Communicate with about six other staff members and coordinate with other departments when needed.
What They’re Looking For :
Recent medical office admin experience
(front office, medical records, scheduling, etc.).
Good computer skills
—especially Word & Excel; EHR experience is a plus (they will train).
Comfort walking between buildings throughout the day.
Attention to detail
—spotting missing documents, correcting errors, and keeping records organized.
Ability to follow privacy / confidentiality rules
for patient information.
