Salary : $105,000 - 120,000 per year
Requirements :
- An active TS / SCI clearance is essential; candidates must be able to obtain or maintain the necessary security clearances.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in Department of Defense (DOD) SATCOM is required.
- A Bachelor of Science degree or higher, or 6 years of directly relevant experience is needed.
- Proficiency in SATCOM principles, technical analysis, and problem-solving is mandatory.
- Candidates must be United States citizens.
Responsibilities :
I will oversee transmission management and network operations for the Wideband SATCOM Operational Management System (WSOMS) and other MILSATCOM C2 programs.As a technical consultant, I will guide transmission management and control in the Super High Frequency (SHF) area, including programs like the Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS) and Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS).I will develop and coordinate policies and plans for WGS, GBS, and DSCS programs, ensuring comprehensive technical solutions that align with systems architecture and compatibility.I will actively participate in various DoD, joint, and technical planning groups.Analyzing and recommending solutions to operational challenges in communications and automation will be a key part of my role.I will leverage my SATCOM system knowledge and its relationship with other telecommunications networks.I will provide technical and operational planning, system configuration, and mission support.Contributing input to the Army PPBE process will also be part of my responsibilities.I will manage C2 MILSATCOM network management programs and develop relevant technical and management comments that reflect command positions regarding Army and joint actions.Sharing lessons learned with the Materiel Developer and Combat Developer to ensure adherence to Military and USSPACECOM doctrine is essential.I will assist in managing the Wideband SATCOM ground segment during transitions to current and future satellites through all development phases.Ensuring interoperability and integration of tactical automation systems with tactical communications equipment will be vital.I will define and implement strategic direction for Wideband programs with long-term impact.Technologies :
