What you'll do
- Be a Team Member : maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, and be flexible to work in other areas as needed; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
- Be an Expert : understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; follow applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
- Be a Techie : use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner : drive performance of the area; use perpetual inventory management to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers following company policies and procedures.
- Be a Talent Ambassador : advocate for the department and club by valuing the members experience in the produce area and modeling high-quality service and products; exhibit energy and commitment for the work.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
