Opportunity :

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details :

  • Shift may start anytime between 6 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM - must be flexible with start times
  • 2 years of experience required for submission
  • Travel experience required
  • Patient ratios : 5 patients during day shifts
  • Daily census : 50 patients
  • Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Required certifications : ARRT T, BLS, State License (all certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of submittal)
  • MUST HAVE experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Competently perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician treatment plans
  • Work independently with sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Skills include : Benign Brain Tumors, Elekta Infinity, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Vision RT
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Valid state license required at time of submission
  • Orientation includes modules completed through e-learning (1-5 hours average)
  • 50 mile travel requirement from assignment location
  • Only one holiday will be approved for time off

    This radiation oncology services facility provides comprehensive cancer treatment using advanced radiation therapy technologies. The facility specializes in delivering precise radiation treatments for various cancer types and conditions, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment including Elekta systems and advanced imaging technologies. The department maintains high standards for patient safety and treatment accuracy while providing compassionate care to adult and geriatric populations.

    Location : Santa Cruz, CA

    Santa Cruz offers a beautiful coastal location with stunning beaches, redwood forests, and a vibrant community atmosphere. The area provides excellent work-life balance with year-round mild weather, outdoor recreation opportunities, and proximity to both San Francisco Bay Area amenities and natural attractions.
