Job description / PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR
Responsibilities :
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the medical office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in-person and over the phone
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details and will also collect payments for services
- Assist with medical administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
- Answer patient inquiries and provide information about services offered
- Ensure a clean and organized reception are
Experience :
Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferredFamiliarity with medical terminology and proceduresProficient in using office software and electronic medical records systemsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAs a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the medical office. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.
