Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Plainfield, IL (Night Shift: 7 PM - 3 AM, Including Weekends)

About the Role: Integrity Trade Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our client's team at a leading packaging product warehouse in Plainfield, IL. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to quality assurance processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring products meet stringent standards and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: - Collect preforms from production lines and perform detailed inspections using visual assessments, weight checks, color readings, and thickness measurements.
- Input accurate data into Infinity software (training provided), maintaining meticulous records of quality metrics.
- Support rework processes to address quality issues, collaborating with the production team to implement corrective actions.
- Analyze inspection results to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for process enhancement.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with food safety standards and quality management systems (such as ISO 22000, ISO 22000-4, FSSC, TQM, 6-Sigma, and EHS standards).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality procedures and ensure product integrity.
Qualifications & Skills: - Proven experience in quality assurance within manufacturing or related industries, with a strong understanding of quality control processes.
- Technical knowledge of quality standards and process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma and TQM.
- Preferred certifications include Food Safety Certifications (ISO 22000, FSSC).
- Proficiency with basic computer applications: MS Word, Excel (basic level), Outlook, and SAP.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to accurately assess product quality.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills-both verbal and written-and proactive problem-solving abilities.

An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave
- 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.
Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.
The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
