What you will do :

As a substitute teacher, you will teach students in the absence of the regularly scheduled teacher. You will manage the classroom, teach from a lesson plan, and communicate the progress of the day to the host teacher.

Skills you should have :

Ability to teach multiple grade levels

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Patience and flexibility with elementary, middle, and high school students

Creativity and organizational skills

Time management skills

What you should have :

Bachelor's Degree

CA Substitute Teacher Permit
