Senior Layout Inspector – Direct Hire

Cheshire, CT area

$70,000 – $90,000 | Full-time, 1st Shift

Our client, a precision manufacturer in the Cheshire area, is looking for an experienced Senior Layout Inspector to join their Quality Assurance team. This direct hire role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, has extensive inspection experience, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable company.

What You’ll Do

• Perform complex layout and first article inspections on precision parts.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, calipers, sine plates, height gauges, and other tools.
• Interpret GD&T and engineering blueprints to ensure compliance.
• Document inspection results and collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors.
