Salary Range : $88,192.00 - $136,697.60

Join our dedicated team in the Colorectal Surgery and Urology unit, a 22-bed medical-surgical unit where you will have the opportunity to care for a diverse range of surgical abdominal, surgical urologic, and general medical / surgical patients. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

The Registered Professional Nurse will assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout their care, focusing on ensuring progression towards discharge, including during transitions within the acute care setting. You will deliver compassionate and competent patient care to a broad spectrum of customers, including patients, hospital staff, and referring facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and special tests, and document treatments in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patients' needs and their responses to the care provided.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
• Administer prescribed medications, both over-the-counter and prescription.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for each patient.
• Guide and direct ancillary staff while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
