NSC-Raleigh Area Command Recreation Job
About This Opportunity : Schedule / Hours : Full-time. This position is responsible for managing a league of teams for t-ball, soccer, winter basketball, football, and summer basketball. Schedules and supervises practices and games. Plans, coordinates, supervises, and implements athletic programs and activities, ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures. Recruits and trains volunteer coaches.
Key Responsibilities :
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions : Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language. Ability to serve as an Athletic Coach and coordinate athletic games. Ability to perform strenuous work, involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Work is performed in a community center facility and outdoors where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education or related field, preferred, and three years' experience planning and implementing athletic program activities.
