ESCROW OFFICER

Location : San Antonio, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • Pay Range : Competitive (range available on request)
  • Schedule : Monday - Friday, Business Hours
  • Employment Type : Staffing (W2)

ROLE IMPACT : The Escrow Officer plays a key role in supporting the Commercial Escrow Department during periods of increased transaction volume. This position ensures smooth and compliant escrow closings for large commercial and complex residential transactions by managing documentation, assisting with title clearance, and maintaining exceptional client service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Commercial Escrow Department with administrative and customer service functions related to escrow closings.
  • Prepare, review, and manage escrow files for residential and commercial transactions, including wraps, assignments, and mobile homes.
  • Assist in clearing title issues and coordinating closing documentation.
  • Contribute to business development and maintain client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.
  • May provide direction or assistance to escrow support staff to ensure process accuracy and efficiency.

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–3 years of experience as an Escrow Assistant with exposure to complex residential or commercial transactions.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient problem-solving and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.

    • CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • Escrow and title management systems (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest, or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Document management and closing software platforms

    • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Prior experience with commercial escrow transactions.
  • Familiarity with large-scale or homebuilder-related title work.
  • Ability to mentor or guide junior escrow staff.
