Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

\n

• Work 8-hour shifts typically scheduled between 08:00-16:30, 08:30-17:00, or 09:00-17:30
\n• Weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities required
\n• Must be IV certified and have general nuclear medicine training from accredited program
\n• Required certifications: CNMT, ARRT NM, or NMTCB, and BLS
\n• SPECT experience preferred
\n• EKG certification preferred
\n• Dress code requires hunter green scrubs
\n• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients undergoing scans for diagnostic purposes
\n• Perform various nuclear medicine studies including cardiac procedures, Lexi scans, adenosine studies, VQ scans, WBC scans, HIDA, MUGA, GI bleed studies, Octreo, MIBG, Y90, and Zephyr procedures
\n• Work independently with 3 GE cameras including dedicated cardiac and SPECT equipment
\n• Must demonstrate independent and kind personality traits
\n• No floating to other departments required

The facility features advanced imaging technology with 3 GE cameras including dedicated cardiac and SPECT equipment. The nuclear medicine department provides a full range of diagnostic imaging services and maintains high standards for patient care with specialized radiopharmaceutical procedures and imaging studies.
