Hours : 5 : 00 or 6 : 00 am OR 2 : 30 - 11 : 00 pm (2nd shift has $2 shift differential)
Pay Rate 25.67 (or 27.67 for 2nd shift)
Company is seeking a Machine Assembler to build and assemble high-precision industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machine sub-assemblies , the ability to read and interpret mechanical prints , and proven experience using dial indicators to align and verify components to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble machine sub-assemblies and final assemblies following mechanical prints, drawings, and build documentation
- Read and interpret blueprints and assembly prints to determine assembly sequence, dimensions, and tolerances
- Use dial indicators to set, align, and verify components (runout, parallelism, concentricity, flatness)
- Perform precision alignment and mechanical adjustments to meet required tolerances
- Install bearings, shafts, cams, gearboxes, and other precision mechanical components
- Verify dimensions and alignment using indicators, calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Identify and correct fit-up, alignment, or tolerance issues during assembly
- Work with engineering and quality teams to resolve build or print discrepancies
- Follow all safety, quality, and documentation standards
