SUMMARY
Axillon Aerospace is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Technician to provide both on-site and remote technical support across our manufacturing facilities. This position offers hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, system maintenance, and end-user support within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will help ensure reliable system performance that directly supports day-to-day manufacturing and business operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Technical Support : Provide on-site and remote assistance to users; troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to minimize production downtime.
- System Maintenance : Install, configure, and update operating systems, business applications, and security software used in manufacturing and office environments.
- Hardware Setup : Prepare and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and production-related equipment for new employees or system upgrades.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes.
- User Training : Assist staff with basic IT procedures, equipment usage, and best practices.
- Security Support : Help manage software and system updates, password policies, and general cybersecurity awareness.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
Foundational understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.Experience providing both on-site and remote support preferred.Familiarity with Windows operating systems and standard business applications (Microsoft 365, Teams, etc.).Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.Works well independently and collaboratively within a team.EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS :
At least 1-2yrs Tier 1 support experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Fundamentals are preferred.
