Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Aeronautical Engineering Manager 2 Subsystems Design, supporting the B-2 program, part of the NGAS Air Dominance Division, and will be located in Palmdale, CA.
The Section Manager (SM) will lead a team of approximately 12 engineers, responsible for the design of mechanical and electrical subsystems for B-2 and will be responsible for all managerial tasks relevant to subsystems design. The SM will work 80% of their time in the subsystems design discipline, as directed by the Vehicle Engineering program IPT Lead. The manager will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and facilitating communications, tasking, scheduling, and technical reviews with each individual contributor's execution lead in Palmdale, CA. Functional home room support, approximately 20% of the manager's time will be focused on recruiting, staffing, retaining talent, weekly team meetings, bi-weekly 1 : 1 meetings, and holding performance review discussions.
The selected candidate will support multiple aspects of aircraft subsystem development including design support of environmental control systems (ECS), fuel, propulsion, landing gear, flight controls, hydraulics, cable design, cable routing, and electrical power systems.

Primary Level Salary Range : $156,500.00 - $234,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
