Head Of Drugstore Retail (gn)

As the Head Of Drugstore Retail (gn), you will be responsible for the expansion of strong retail partnerships and the strategic development of our brands in the drugstore retail sector. With your experience in the FMCG environment and your understanding of market and customer trends, you will actively drive the growth of ESN and More Nutrition.

Your Mission With Us

Building Strong Partnerships

  • You will nurture and build trustful relationships with our most important drugstore retail partners and understand what truly drives them.
  • Together with internal departments, you will develop tailored strategies and concepts to achieve ambitious growth goals.
  • You will act as an equal partner with negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and deep market understanding.
  • You will manage internal and external stakeholders such as operations and brand managers.

Designing Strategic Brand & Account Plans

  • You will use market and customer data to develop holistic account plans that connect company goals and commercial brand plans with customer needs.
  • With data-driven decisions, you will ensure that resources are optimally utilized and market potentials are fully exploited.
  • You will monitor trends and shopper behavior to adapt strategies agilely and position our brands for long-term success.
  • The distribution channel is the largest growth market for TQG you will actively shape the home market and act as a role model for internationalization.
  • Leading A Strong Team

  • You will lead, develop, and inspire your growing team of at least 2 people with a clear vision, empathy, and leadership qualities.
  • You will foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a culture of responsibility and development.
  • Your goal : A motivated, high-performing team that passionately designs innovative solutions and grows together.
  • Showing Negotiation Skills

  • You will lead complex price and condition negotiations with the big players in the German drugstore trade (DM, ROSSMANN, MLLER).
  • You will develop pricing and promotion strategies that meet market requirements and company goals.
  • Even in an international context, you will confidently apply your negotiation skills.
  • Measuring And Improving Results

  • You will define clear KPIs and use data to make performance visible and identify optimization potentials.
  • You will continuously refine our account management approaches and adapt strategies to market dynamics.
  • You will foster a culture of openness, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
  • Your Experience & Skills

  • You have a completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a comparable field.
  • You bring at least 10 years of experience in key account management or sales management with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • You have demonstrable successes in the FMCG sector, ideally in the food segment.
  • You have extensive experience in drugstore retail (LEH) especially with DM, ROSSMANN, and MLLER.
  • You have experience in leading and developing high-performing teams and enjoy taking on responsibility.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English.
  • You work routinely with Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of category management, trade marketing, and commercial planning.
  • Nice to have : knowledge of GS1 as well as GAP training (or comparable certifications).
  • You are characterized by analytical acumen and data-driven decision-making.
