• Location: Knoxville, TN 37923 (East Tennessee healthcare jobs)\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026)\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2150 - $2310\n
• Clinical Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab & Electrophysiology Lab\n
• Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (06:30 – 15:00)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• On Call: Monday–Friday, 15:00–23:00 (no overnight, weekend, or holiday call)\n
• Patient Population: Adult cardiac patients\n
• Unit Details: 7 procedure rooms, daily census of 25\n

\n\nRadiology Technologist Qualifications\n

\n
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Diagnostic/Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab\n
• Previous travel radiology technologist experience required\n
• Active Tennessee or compact state radiology license (must be in hand at submission)\n
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) required\n
• Preferred: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT RT (CI) certification\n
• Experience with GE Healthcare charting system required; Cerner experience preferred\n
• Community hospital and trauma level I/II experience preferred\n
• Proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and performing advanced cardiac procedures\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n

\n\nRadiology Technologist Responsibilities\n

\n
• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures\n
• Monitor patients and provide accurate hemodynamic measurements during cardiac procedures\n
• Set up and maintain specialized EP and Cath Lab equipment (Cryo ablation, PFA ablation, BioSense Webster Carto mapping system)\n
• Assist with afib/flutter ablations, pacemaker and ICD implants, loop recorder insertions/removals, and lead extractions\n
• Maintain sterile technique and manage equipment inventory for clinical support\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services)\n
• Participate in on-call coverage for extended cases (callback pay provided)\n
• Document patient care using GE Healthcare charting system\n
