Schedule : 15–20 days / month

🔍 Key Responsibilities

First assist in complex CVT surgeries (CABG, valve replacements, etc.)

Manage full-spectrum inpatient care : pre-op, intra-op, and post-op

Rotate 24-hour call every third week (includes ICU and surgical coverage)

Round on inpatients and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Consult on emergency department patients and coordinate care plans

Occasional clinic coverage during call week (1–2 days)

Order / interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe treatments

Utilize Cerner EMR

🗓 Schedule Overview

Non-Call Days : 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Call Schedule : 24-hour call every third week

Monthly Commitment : 15–20 days / month

Requirements

Board Certified PA

Must have recent CVT surgery experience (dealbreaker if not)

Nevada license or eligible via IMLC

BLS, ACLS, DEA certification

Clean malpractice history

Must hold or be eligible for a Nevada Controlled Substance (CS) License
