Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in New Jersey to provide professional supervision to social work staff and serve as the facility’s Alternate Program Administrator.
This is a fully remote position responsible for oversight of social work services, ensuring compliance with state behavioral health standards and professional practice requirements. The role does not include a patient caseload.
In the event of a gap in leadership, the Alternate Program Administrator may assume temporary administrative responsibility until a new Program Administrator is appointed.
Provide clinical supervision to social work staff and ensure all documentation meets professional and state standards.
Review and approve biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries as part of ongoing quality oversight.
Participate in compliance and quality-improvement meetings to support the integrity and effectiveness of clinical services.
Maintain regular contact with the Program Administrator to discuss staff development, documentation trends, and regulatory readiness.
Oversee adherence to professional ethics, confidentiality standards, and patient rights.
Serve as the Alternate Program Administrator when required, providing interim administrative oversight of daily operations, staff coordination, and compliance functions.
Participate in periodic audits or surveys to ensure continued program compliance and quality performance.
Requirements
Active New Jersey LCSW license in good standing (required).
Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three years of supervisory or leadership experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting. (Required)
Strong understanding of documentation standards, multidisciplinary collaboration, and behavioral health compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Comfortable working remotely with structured check-ins and timely correspondence.
