As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining approachable to those on site, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents as outlined in site-specific procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and / or visitors as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Support Allied Universal operations by following all post orders and instructions provided for the location.
  • Assist in managing access control for the property, monitoring entrances and exits as required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience working at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
