The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Engineering Interns to support projects across our Transportation, Land Development, and Architecture & Engineering business lines. This is a paid internship opportunity in one of our locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, Virginia or Maryland.

What You’ll Do :

Interns at PRIME provide college students with an opportunity to gain real-world experience in their specific field of study. Interns work alongside world-class professionals in a fast-paced, professional setting, providing invaluable experience applying the knowledge and skills learned through education in a business environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Depending on your background and assignment, you may :

• Assist with roadway, bridge, and traffic design projects.
• Support land / site civil development including stormwater management, grading, water / wastewater systems, and permitting.
• Contribute to architectural and engineering projects involving municipal, federal, and private sector clients.
• Prepare calculations, reports, design documents, and construction details / specifications.
• Use computer-assisted engineering tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, etc.) to support project design tasks.
• Collect, organize, and prepare data for engineering evaluation.
• Assist in construction observation, documentation, and compliance with specifications.
• Provide general project support including drafting, computations, and quality review / proofing.
