Position Overview :

The Department of Liberal Studiesis seeking Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) applicants.

Applicants will support sections of Liberal Studies (LS) 115 Understanding and Applying Social Science Content Pedagogy and Technology in K-12.

• ISAs will assist with instruction of LS 115 during the following semester and may also have opportunities to support additional introductory courses within the Liberal Studies Department.
• This position primarily works remotely with the following schedule : Mondays / Wednesdays from 1 : 00 p.m. to 3 : 50 p.m. and Tuesdays / Thursdays from 10 : 00 a.m. to 12 : 50 p.m. when faculty teach their courses.

The department reserves the right to choose the most qualified candidate for each position and to assign Instructional Student Assistant to the courses that are appropriate for the department program and curriculum in any given semester. Due to staff and curriculum changes courses offered may vary and no guarantee of employment from semester to semester can be made.

Anticipated Appointment Dates : This position is opened until filled. If you have applied and no other positions are available you will be notified.

Hours : 0-20 hours per week.
