Job Details : ​ Pay : $24.65 / hr

SUMMARY :   This position is responsible for running the ammonia refrigeration and chlorine systems with minimal supervision. Refrigeration Technicians perform maintenance and repairs on the machines and equipment related to boilers and refrigeration and constantly monitor the status of the ammonia system in accordance with Process Safety Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES :

• Installation and set-up of equipment as needed
• Monitor and make necessary adjustments to refrigeration system and related equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment completing required documentation
• Provide pass-down to following shift Technician
• Assists experienced Technicians in troubleshooting of equipment and system, assisting with necessary repairs
• Completes shift log book and other required paperwork
• Assist within department as needed inclusive of assisting with waste-water duties.
• Other duties as assigned

Bend / Stoop, Squat, Crawl, Reach Above Shoulder, Crouch, Kneel, Balance, Push / Pull; Occasionally

External Requirement : Must have a minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience. Ammonia refrigeration (preferred) and / or general maintenance documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
