Senior International Program Analyst
Avid Core is seeking a Senior International Program Analyst with strong program management experience to support a federal government client in Washington, D.C. We're looking for a passionate, detail-oriented person interested in supporting an international global security program.
The position is onsite at the Avid Core office or client site in Washington, DC with the option for telework.
Capacity Building and Strategic Analysis
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize information from international assessments and other Capacity Building efforts.
- Gather data and information from international assessments, reports, and other relevant sources, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of collected data.
- Maintain organized records of all collected information for future reference.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on collected data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Evaluate the credibility and reliability of sources and information.
- Apply analytical frameworks and methodologies to interpret complex data.
- Summarize findings into clear, concise, and actionable reports or presentations.
- Develop visualizations, charts, and graphs to support analysis.
- Provide recommendations based on synthesized information.
- Work closely with senior analysts and other team members to align analysis with organizational goals.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Program Management and International Engagement
Coordinate between directorates and project teams to promote operational efficiency and adherence to agency best practices, facilitating regular reviews to improve project workflow and processes.Support international stakeholder engagement and foster interagency collaboration to advance strategic partnerships and objectives under Interagency Agreements (IAAs).Actively engage in problem-solving, risk identification, and risk mitigation during project implementation.Support communication and collaboration between divisions to ensure strategic goals and program initiatives are met.Provide input and recommendations to develop, refine, and improve partnerships, policies, and processes in coordination with client leadership.Support and coordinate directly with the client on emerging and evolving international developments.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Skills
Experience : 3+ years of program management experience supporting a Federal Agency. This includes a strong ability to manage international programs.Education : Bachelor's degree, preferably in international affairs or similar field. Master's Degree preferred.Certifications : Accredited Project Management Professional (PMP) is desired.Analytical & Communication Skills : Exceptional editing and data analysis skills to ensure deliverables submitted to the client for final approval are error-free. Must be able to manage multiple high-priority tasks and be capable of working independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment. Able to manage and follow-up on deadlines, as well as to identify and recommend solutions and next steps.Technical Proficiency : Proficiency with the full Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint). Experience with WebEx, Zoom, and other virtual meeting platforms is required.Security Clearance : Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance.Benefits

The candidate must be able to commute to the client location to the Avid Core office or client site in Washington D.C. Up to 25% of travel may be required.
