Director of Financial Reporting

A company is looking for a Director of Financial Reporting to lead the financial reporting function for its Asset Protection Division.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare internal GAAP financial reports and present results to senior management

Oversee the preparation of GAAP financial statements for APD legal entities

Lead and manage APD accounting staff, fostering employee development and engagement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA and / or MBA strongly preferred

10-15 years of financial / insurance accounting experience

5-10 years of leadership experience managing accounting teams

FLMI or other industry designation desirable

Advanced knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting principles
