Position Overview

The Construction Superintendent is a field-based leadership role responsible for managing daily on-site operations, overseeing all construction activities, and ensuring work progresses according to schedule, budget, and specifications. This position requires extensive experience in building superstructures, foundations and interior construction for multifamily and residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site construction activities for ground-up commercial and residential projects.
• Supervise superstructure, foundation, framing, and finish work to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with design standards.
• Coordinate daily field operations with project managers, engineers, and inspectors.
• Oversee and manage subcontractors and labor crews, providing clear direction and accountability.
• Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and timelines; track progress and costs daily.
• Maintain a strong culture of safety on every job site by conducting regular meetings, enforcing OSHA and company safety standards, monitoring PPE usage, and ensuring daily compliance.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure all work aligns with design intent and project requirements.
• Coordinate with city officials, building departments, and inspectors throughout permitting, inspection, and project closeout processes.
• Oversee site preparation, land movement, grading, and utility installation to ensure proper coordination and readiness for construction.
• Ensure strict compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and established project schedules.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and daily site logs.
• Travel to multiple project locations throughout Florida and occasionally outside the state as required.
