What You Bring to Cambia :

Preferred Key Experience :

ETL tools (e.g. Apache NiFi Talend) big data tools (Hadoop Spark) cloud storage and orchestration tools (Kubernetes Airflow).

Qualifications and Certifications :

College degree in Computer Sciences Mathematics Business Administration or related fields.

A college degree may be substituted by sufficient years of experience in the health care industry.

One year experience in defining and analyzing business requirements process modeling functional systems design or configuration and / or acceptance testing is required.

Experience with a business area that is supported by this position is required (i.e. Provider Network and Contract Management Digital Solutions Pricing Membership Claims etc.).

Equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Attributes (Not limited to) :

Expertise in data processing frameworks (e.g. Apache Spark Kafka Airflow).

Strong knowledge of databases (SQL NoSQL) and data modeling.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python Scala) and query languages (e.g. SQL).

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS S3 Google BigQuery).

Understanding of data governance security and compliance.

ETL tools (e.g. Apache NiFi Talend) big data tools (Hadoop Spark) cloud storage and orchestration tools (Kubernetes Airflow).

What You Will Do at Cambia (Not limited to) :

Reliable scalable data pipelines and storage systems that enable analytics machine learning or reporting.

Developing and optimizing data pipelines to extract transform and load (ETL) data from various sources.

Ensuring data quality integrity and availability for data scientists and analysts.

Building and maintaining data warehouses or data lakes (e.g. Snowflake Redshift Hadoop).

Automating data workflows and ensuring scalability of data systems.

Working with big data technologies to handle structured and unstructured data.

The expected target hiring range for the Data Platform Engineer is $ 121k $142k is depending on skills experience education and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 15%. The current full salary range for the Data Platform Engineer is $113k / $185k.
