As Chief Estimator, you won’t just be pricing jobs — you’ll be guiding a multi-million dollar pipeline through preconstruction, helping win the right work, at the right price, with the right clients. You’ll own the estimating process from RFP to contract execution, bringing leadership, structure, and a deep understanding of landscape construction.

This is a pivotal role for a growing $20M+ company with a strong construction division. With 20+ estimates submitted each month and up to $5M in proposals generated, your impact on growth and profitability will be clear, direct, and strategic.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the full estimating process for landscape construction projects ranging from $500K–$3M
• Review bid documents, perform quantity takeoffs, develop scopes, and submit competitive bids
• Manage project handoffs to operations, ensuring clarity on scope, schedule, and margin
• Work directly with clients and general contractors to present, explain, and adjust estimates
• Oversee a junior estimator and collaborate with the Project Executive and President
• Analyze project risk, maintain pricing accuracy, and align estimates with company goals
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to build competitive pricing and partnerships
• Drive consistency and process improvement across all estimating activity
